Eagan Boyer, a 6-foot-7 and 260-pound 3-star offensive tackle recruit out of Cornelius, North Carolina (William Amos Hough) has announced a commitment to play in the B1G.

Boyer, who has a reported 26 offers, committed to Penn State, he announced on social media. North Carolina and Auburn were also in the mix at the end. Boyer is the No. 46-ranked offensive tackle in the country and the 20th-best player in North Carolina, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. Penn State’s Class of 2024 stands as the 7th-best in the country.

“I would like to thank my family, friends, and coaches for believing in me and helping me get to where I am today,” he wrote. “I’d especially like to thank the Magazu family for starting me down this path and helping me get to where I am now. A big thank you to the staff and coaches at Penn State, especially Coach Franklin and Coach Trautwein, for giving me this opportunity.”

It’s been a strong recent run for Penn State on the recruiting trail. Boyer is the 12th recruit to commit to Penn State as a member of the Class of 2024 and the fifth player to commit since the spring game on April 15.
