Eli Manning appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and discussed his “Chad Powers” alter ego.
The “Chad Powers” character was used on the show “Eli’s Places.” Manning’s ESPN Plus show is based around Manning travelling around the country and diving into different parts of football. On the latest episode, Manning decided to travel to Penn State to try out as a walk-on player.

For Manning to be able to try out, he had wear a disguise to the practice. Before the try out happened, Manning met up with Penn State head coach James Franklin and informed Franklin that he was going to try out for the team.
Manning put on prosthetic makeup, long hair, and a mustache. He was able to practice with the other participants and he eventually drew attention to himself. Manning was laughed at for his lackluster 40-yard dash, but he started to impress the room during passing drills.
By the end of the try out, Franklin let everyone else in on the prank and Manning’s identity was revealed. He ripped off the makeup and took off his wig for the other walk-ons to see. Penn State invited Manning to stay for a team practice and he announced a scholarship for a walk-on player.
