Elite in-state receiver for 2022 commits to Penn State
On Thursday, Penn State’s rising Class of 2022 went even a step further as the Nittany Lions nabbed another commitment from a high-end player out of Pennsylvania.
Anthony Ivey out of Manheim Township High School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, announced his commitment to James Franklin and the Penn State program. He’s a wide receiver that earned interest from a number of Power 5 programs.
Among the other teams that offered Ivey include Arizona State, Auburn, and Cincinnati.
Ivey stands at 5-foot-11, 170 pounds. The four-star recruit was considered the No. 8 prospect in Pennsylvania among those in the Class of 2022 as rated by the 247 Sports Composite Rankings.

Ivey joins a 2022 recruiting class filled with top prospects. Of the seven players committed so far, six are considered four-star recruits by the 247 Sports Composite Rankings.
