ESPN's FPI predicts outcome of Penn State-Nebraska game
With the Penn State-Nebraska game tomorrow, all eyes are on who’s going to get their first win of the season.
Penn State enters the game at 0-3 while Nebraska enters the game at 0-2. The Nittany Lions are coming off a loss to Maryland while the Cornhuskers are coming off a tight loss to Northwestern, 21-13.
This is shaking up to be a very close game but ESPN’s FPI predictor sees the Nittany Lions as the favorite to win tomorrow. According to the FPI, Penn State has a 63.8% chance to beat the Cornhuskers tomorrow afternoon.
For Penn State to win this game, it’ll have to involve quarterback Sean Clifford who struggled last week against Maryland. He had three touchdown passes but also had two interceptions during the game.
The same can be said about Nebraska as quarterback Adrian Martinez also struggled last week against Northwestern. The Cornhuskers were shutout in the second half which led to the loss.
Kickoff is set for Noon ET tomorrow afternoon and the game will be televised by FS1.
