ESPN's FPI predicts the outcome of Penn State's battle against Auburn
No. 22 Penn State faces off against Auburn Saturday in what is sure to be an insane environment at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
The Nittany Lions are looking to improve to 3-0 while the Auburn Tigers look to do the same against a top 25 team. ESPN’s FPI predicted the winner of the battle, giving the Nittany Lions just a 61.7% chance to scamper back to University Park with a W.
The Nittany Lions will be wearing the all-white uniforms. As for Auburn? Well, nobody really knows. Fans have insisted the Tigers will come out of the tunnel in all-orange getups, though some sources think otherwise.
What we do know is Penn State will have its work cut out for itself against Tank Bigsby, one of the top running backs in the SEC. The Nittany Lions have a strong run game themselves, featuring talented 5-star back Nick Singleton, who has rushed for over 200 yards and a pair of touchdowns already to start his college career.
The game is set to kick off at 3:30 EST in Auburn, Alabama on CBS.
