Every week in college football is special.

To lose one game hurts. But to lose two? That essentially kills.

Every week matters, but occasionally, there is an extra “oomph” to certain games. Sometimes it is because two teams are highly ranked and the game itself just means that much more.

Other times, it’s because it is homecoming week. Not only do many alums come back to their alma mater, but everyone is hyped up just that much more. Everything seems bigger, better and more populated.

For Penn State, the game on Saturday against Michigan State is its homecoming game. Special alums of course are around the program.

One of those being ESPN’s Lisa Salters. Salters, a reporter, was posing with a pretty sweet looking football alongside James Franklin:

Salters, as Penn State football said, is the grand marshal. The 52-year-old Nittany Lions fan has had plenty of eye-popping moments over the years, but this weekend will probably be one she won’t forget.
