Former Penn State defensive end Daniel Joseph has found a new home.

On Sunday, the former Nittany Lion announced that he’ll finish his college football career in the ACC, as he’ll be heading to North Carolina State. He will have one year of eligibility remaining to use with the Wolf Pack, and will be immediately eligible for the 2020 season as a graduate trasnfer.

Joseph tweeted out his decision on Sunday.

“To Penn State and the best fans in college football, thank you for the love and support and allowing me to chase my dreams on the field and in the classroom. You will always hold a special place in my heart,” Joseph said. “With that being said, I am ready for the next chapter of my life and am looking forward to what the future holds. I will be attending the University of North Carolina State for my last year of eligibility.”

Joseph appeared in 33 games during his Penn State career, tallying 30 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and five sacks. He was a four-star member of Penn State’s 2016 recruiting class and is a native of Lake Forest, Illinois.

Last seaosn, NC State finished with a 4-8 record, which included a 1-7 mark in ACC play.
