Antonio Shelton is leaving Penn State and heading to the SEC. The massive defensive tackle is Gainesville-bound to join Florida.

In what was an abbreviated season, Shelton put together a very solid season at Penn State with 13 tackles and 3.5 sacks, the sack total being a career-high. He also had a forced fumble and a pass defended in 2020.

He played four seasons at Penn State, who went 4-5 this past season. At Florida, he has a clear path to the top of the two-deep at the interior defensive line.

Florida finished the season 8-4 and lost in the Cotton Bowl to Oklahoma. For his efforts this season, head coach Dan Mullen was named Pro Football Focus’ College Coach of the Year.

During his four seasons at Penn State, Shelton emerged as a solid contributor along the defensive line. He rounds out his time in Happy Valley with 55 total tackles and 5.5 sacks.
