Former Penn State linebacker Manny Bowen announced that he will be transferring after his graduation and is open to any and all options.

Bowen made the announcement via Twitter on Wednesday morning.

“Officially announcing that I will be transferring upon graduation in December,” Bowen wrote. “I am open to all options in the process of searching for a new university. Excited for a new place to call home.”

Bowen was an on-again-off-again linebacker for the Nittany Lions since last season. He was suspended for the team’s final four games in 2017 but rejoined the team this August.

A few weeks later, Bowen decided to leave the team.

Last season, Bowen racked up 51 tackles and 3.5 stops for loss in nine games for the Nittany Lions. In his three-year career, he registered 137 tackles, 12.5 of which were for loss. He played in 35 career games for Penn State.

Bowen will have one year of eligibility remaining.
