A former Penn State receiver is heading to the West Coast.

Wednesday, John Dunmore Jr. announced on Twitter that he has committed to continue his college football career at Oregon State. He has initially planned to transfer to Florida Atlantic (FAU) after entering the transfer portal in late October 2020.

Dunmore spent one full season with the Nittany Lions before transferring out of the program. He will take all four years of eligibility to Oregon State.

As a true freshman in 2019, Dunmore appeared in one game, playing against Purdue. He did not record any statistics but was one of 19 true freshmen to play for the Nittany Lions during the year.

Dunmore was a 4-star member of the 2019 recruiting class. A native of Hollywood, Florida, he was ranked as the No. 20 receiver in the class and the No. 120 overall prospect in the cycle, per 247Sports.

Penn State finished the 2020 season with a 4-5 record.
