A former Penn State receiver has announced his transfer destination.

Wednesday morning, Brandon Polk announced via his Instagram account that he will be continuing his career at James Madison University, making a return to his home state of Virginia. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.

Polk decided to transfer following the 2018 season, in which he played in 11 games and caught nine passes for 162 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Because he is transferring to the FCS level, Polk will be immediate eligible for the 2019 season.

During his career with the Nittany Lions, Polk played in 40 career games and totaled 27 receptions for 367 yards and four touchdowns.

James Madison has been one of the top FCS programs in college football recently. Last season, the Dukes finished the year 9-4 and earned a trip to the playoffs. They were defeated in the second round by Colgate.
