Penn State is ranked No. 6 in the country with the program coming off a stout shutout of Iowa in Week 4. That performance had the Nittany Lions riding high, but it did not carry over into the first half vs. Northwestern.

The ground game has also lacked a bit in efficiency while the Nittany Lions are converting just 2-for-8 on 3rd down with 158 yards of total offense.
