Florida Gators coach thinks HBO show helped 'because we're still cooler than Penn State'

Dan Mullen is the current head coach of the Florida Gators. Like most coaches, he appears on radio weekly during the college football season.

What he said this week will surely make Penn State fans feel some type of way. It should be noted first though, that Mullen’s Gators and the Nittany Lions were both featured on the HBO show this season, “24/7 College Football,” which followed teams around for a week during the year.

Here’s Mullen after seeing the Gators’ episode when compared with a team like Penn State’s:

Was Mullen taking a legitimate shot at Penn State and Arizona State here? Maybe. We would have to find the audio to hear his tone.

After all, it could have been a playful jab in a joking manner.
