Robbie Gould has spent 17 years in the NFL since kicking for Penn State in college. Now, he has an NFL Playoffs record after hitting some key field goals for the San Francisco 49ers.

In the playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys, Gould went 3-for-3 on his field-goal attempts on the road. That performance included a pair of 50+ yard attempts as the 49ers went on to win 23-17 in Dallas.

Those field goals helped Gould improve to an all-time 18-for-18 on field goal kicks in postseason play. Per NFL Research, that gives Gould the all-time mark for most field goal attempts without a miss in the playoffs during the Super Bowl era.

Though Gould has the mark, 2 kickers still alive in the playoffs have a shot at reaching the mark. Pittsburgh’s Chris Boswell is 16-for-16 and faces Kansas City Sunday night. Tampa Bay’s Ryan Succop is 14-for-14 and won over Philadelphia Sunday afternoon.

As a Nittany Lion, Gould scored 232 total points from 2001-04. He finished 39-for-61 on field-goal tries.
