Former Penn State linebacker Jarvis Miller is headed to UMass to complete his college football career.

Miller sent out a message on Twitter on Saturday afternoon, notifying everyone of his decision to join UMass as a graduate transfer. He thanked Penn State coaches, fans and teammates in his announcement.

“After much prayer and consideration with my family, I have decided to play my 5th year of eligibility at the University of Massachusetts,” Miller said. “To the Penn State fan base, you are the best fans anyone could ask for! It has been the most memorable 4 years of my life.”

Miller appeared in 11 games for Penn State in 2018, registered eight tackles and a fumble recovery. He did not play in the Citrus Bowl.

In three years with the Nittany Lions, Miller appeared in 33 career games, totaling 23 stops and two tackles for loss. He’s part of a slew of Penn State players looking to transfer following the 2018 season.
