Jason Cabinda was a playmaking linebacker during his time at Penn State. Now, he’s making plays on offense for the Detroit Lions.

This season, Cabinda has mostly been used on special teams and as a fullback with Detroit. On Sunday, Cabinda found the end zone for his first career touchdown.

Cabinda lined up at the tight end for the play that began as play-action. After holding his block for a moment, Cabinda leaked into the flat and grabbed the pass for the short score.

During his time at Penn State, Cabinda had 3 seasons of 80+ tackles. He finished his Nittany Lions career with 285 total tackles, 17.5 TFL, 7 sacks, and an interception.

Fellow Nittany Lion Amani Oruwariye started Detroit’s drive with an interception. The Penn State duo is making plays as the Lions look to pull off the massive upset of the Arizona Cardinals.
