Former Penn State pass rusher Jayson Oweh is officially a Baltimore Raven.

He signed his rookie deal on Friday morning, complete with a photo with head coach John Harbaugh:

Oweh’s rookie deal is projected to be worth roughly $11.3 million over the next four seasons. The Ravens will also have the ability to pick up a fifth-year option following his third NFL season.

He was the 31st pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He joined Micah Parsons as Nittany Lions who were selected in the first round this year. This was the first time Penn State had multiple first-round picks in the same draft since it had four in 2003.

Oweh was a fast riser in the pre-draft process. He didn’t put up gaudy numbers at Penn State, but his film was impressive and his athletic ability was attractive for NFL scouts.

As a junior, Oweh compiled 38 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and one pass deflection.
