Hamler was selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos, going No. 46 overall. He left Penn State after leading the team in in catches and receiving yards each of the last two seasons. In 2019, he also led the Lions with touchdown receptions.
Last year, Hamler totaled 904 yards and eight touchdowns on 56 catches. He was utilized in Penn State’s return-team units and was also used in the run game occasionally over the last two years. He was one of the fastest, elusive and most versatile receivers in the B1G during his time in State College.
Hamler will join former Penn Staters Saquon Barkley and Trace McSorley as recent NFL players who were featured on the ESPN documentary.
