Juwan Johnson has put up the first touchdown for the New Orleans Saints in a pivotal Week 15 NFC South matchup at home versus the Atlanta Falcons. The former Penn State Nittany Lions wide receiver caught a short pass from quarterback Andy Dalton and ran it in for a 19-yard scoring play.

Through the first drive of the game, Johnson has caught 2 receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown. He entered Week 15 catching 31 receptions for 349 yards and a team-high 5 touchdowns.

In the two previous seasons of his professional career, Johnson caught 17 receptions for 198 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Johnson caught 81 receptions for 1,123 yards and 2 touchdowns as a member of the Penn State Nittany Lions in his first 4 years in college. He transferred to the University of Oregon in 2019 when he caught 30 receptions for 467 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Johnson has been one of the biggest bright spots for the Saints (4-9) this season, yet they have a chance to clinch the NFC South Division and go into the NFL Playoffs.
