FOX Big Noon Kickoff crew caught in storm in Morgantown
FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff show is in Morgantown for a Week 1 matchup between the West Virginia Mountaineers and Penn State Nittany Lions. The game is one of Week 1’s most anticipated matchups, but unfortunately, things haven’t gone as expected.
At halftime, a big thunderstorm came through Morgantown and the game was placed in a weather delay. Due to the heavy amount of lightning, fans were evacuated until the storm passed.
Apparently the Big Noon Kickoff crew didn’t get the memo, however, as Rob Stone, Urban Meyer, Brady Quinn, and Mark Ingram were caught in the middle of the storm.

The crew is seen still on set as an ominous-looking storm encircles them. Massive lightning strikes are seen in the background and one of the crew members lost all their paperwork and had it blown by the storm.
A mystery object also goes flying over the crew at the end of the video, and it’s unclear what was going on there.
At this point, the Nittany Lions and Mountaineers are still in a delay. Before the delay, Drew Allar was having a career game. The QB threw for 199 yards with 3 touchdowns and 0 interceptions in the first half.
Harrison Wallace III had a huge first half as well, coming down with 5 catches for 117 yards and 2 TDs.
The Nittany Lion defense also started off hot, holding the Mountaineers to under 100 yards passing in the first half. The Mountaineers have their work cut out for them when the 2nd half begins.
