With no NFL Scouting Combine this year, college football players had just one opportunity to improve their stock before the draft. Some took advantage of their pro days in a big way.

FOX college football analyst RJ Young created a list of the five most impressive pro day performances this year. On that list was one B1G name: Penn State defensive end Jayson Oweh.

The former Nittany Lion turned heads with an impressive time in the 40-yard dash and his vertical jump. He could have propelled himself into a lock for the first round, though some still believe he could be a Day 2 pick.

Below is Young’s complete Top 5:

Oweh ended the year with 38 tackles, including 6.5 for loss. He didn’t record a sack and was only credited with 1 quarterback hurry and 1 pass break-up during Penn State’s 4-5 campaign. That might be a concern for some scouts, but the defensive lineman showed just how athletic he is on the field.

In three seasons at Penn State, Oweh collected 13.5 tackles for loss, 7 sacks, 3 quarterback hurries and 2 forced fumbles. He has great potential, and he proved that in a big way during his pro day.
