Gamesmanship? Penn State vetoes Michigan's request for specific uniform combination
Penn State and Michigan are already making headlines before the opening kickoff in State College.
Rumors were swirling on Friday afternoon and ESPN’s College GameDay confirmed the reports Saturday morning. For the Week 11 matchup, the Wolverines requested to wear an all-maize uniform for the contest at Beaver Stadium.
The Nittany Lions, apparently, denied that request.
Gamesmanship, anyone?
In response to the veto from Penn State, Michigan is throwing some shade right back. The Wolverines are wearing as much maize as possible. The team tweeted out its uniform combination.
Whether you like #Michigan's uniform combo or not, you have to like the sentiment. Penn State shoots down U-M's request to wear all maize, so Michigan decides to wear as much maize and possible. Not a big deal, but gamesmanship for sure.

The bickering over uniform combinations will certainly add an element of intensity to the Michigan-Penn State game. While the Nittany Lions are essentially out of the B1G East race, they can still knock the Wolverines out of the College Football Playoff race with a win.
Buckle up, this should be a fun one at noon on ABC.
