The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to interview former Penn State coach Bill O’Brien for their head coaching vacancy in the wake of firing Urban Meyer, according to multiple reports.

O’Brien is currently Alabama’s offensive coordinator as the Tide prepares for a national title matchup vs. SEC rival Georgia. In his first season with the program, O’Brien’s unit has produced at least 40 points in 9 of the team’s 14 games.

O’Brien compiled a 15-9 overall record and 10-6 record in conference play during his time at Penn State from 2012-13. O’Brien then coached the Houston Texans from 2014-2020, guiding the team to the playoffs 4 times.

Additionally, if Jim Harbaugh elects to return to the pros, Michigan is also reportedly interested in O’Brien.
