Jahan Dotson has been remarkable for Penn State this season, and he joined an elite list with a first-half touchdown vs. Rutgers.

Though the two offenses have been forgettable for much of the game, Dotson recorded 2 catches for 22 yards. He was also the recipient of the first touchdown pass for quarterback Christian Veilleux who is playing in place of Sean Clifford.

After entering the game with 993 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns, Dotson can now lay claim to a 1,000-yards and 10 TD receiving season with the Nittany Lions. He becomes just the third player in program history to have such a year.

According to the BTN broadcast, Bobby Engram (1995) and Allen Robinson (2012) are the only other players to hit those numbers in a season at Penn State. As things currently stand, Robinson holds the single-season program record with 1,432 yards while Engram holds the single-season TD record with 13.
