James Franklin has been asked about Drew Allar a lot this season. The question came up once again at his weekly press conference on Tuesday.

Sean Clifford had 4 turnovers in the loss to Ohio State. Three of them were interceptions and he also lost a fumble after getting sacked by J.T. Tuimoloau.

Franklin revealed that it’s not his decision alone to make. Franklin stated that he has talked to OC Mike Yurcich and DC Manny Diaz about it.

Penn State is planning on going with the QB that gives them the best chance to win on Saturday.

“It’s not a decision that I make on my own,” said Franklin. “I had a pretty good conversation with Mike Yurcich. I talked to Manny Diaz about it. For us, we’re going to look at who gives us the best chance to go 1-0 this week and go from there.”

Franklin also said that he doesn’t like the tone of certain questions like that, but understands why people ask them.

“The question (about the QBs) and similar questions like that I don’t necessarily like the tone of it, but I get it,” said Franklin. “To me, it’s an interesting question.”

We’ll see who suits up for Penn State as the Nittany Lions take on Indiana in Bloomington in Week 10. That game kicks off Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
