James Franklin compliments rich history, tradition of Rose Bowl venue
James Franklin was stopped halfway through the parade at Disneyland on Wednesday to talk about the Rose Bowl. The interview was definitely held at an interesting place as it was right in the middle of the street at the park.
Franklin revealed what he’s looking forward to the most from his Rose Bowl experience. Franklin commented on how the game has such a rich history and tradition. Penn State has also been impressed with how Utah’s looked on tape.
“So much history and tradition obviously,” said Franklin. “We’re playing a great opponent from the Pac-12. We’ve been so impressed with them on tape. Great environment, great game we can’t wait to get out there.”

This will also be the first time that Penn State and Utah have faced off in football.
Franklin and Penn State have a chance to start off the series against the Utes with a bang on Jan. 2. Game time will be at 5 p.m. ET and broadcast on ESPN.
