James Franklin has a multitude of running backs at his disposal this year. He was asked about what Nick Singleton and Kaytron Allen can bring to the backfield for Penn State.
Franklin 1st mentioned what makes Singleton so special. He is especially excited about how Singleton can go 80 yards down the field at any point.
“I think they both have the ability to make big plays,” said Franklin “Nick is big, fast, and strong and has a chance to go 80 yards at any point in the game.”
For Kaytron Allen, Franklin said that he surprised everyone at fall camp because of his production level and his big play ability. Franklin is glad both backs are at Penn State, and that he has the chance to use both in his offense this season.
“A little bit of a different play style than Nick, but both strong, powerful backs that can make you miss,” said Franklin.
