Penn State football hasn’t lived up to many people’s expectations this season.

Last week was proof of that, as the Nittany Lions got blasted by Michigan 42-7. With the loss, Penn State now owns a 3-3 record in Big Ten play.

On Wednesday, the Nittany Lions practiced to get ready for Wisconsin on Saturday at Beaver Stadium. Afterwards, coach James Franklin talked with the media about getting tough questions after losses:

Franklin seemed to go on about this topic, and perhaps for good reason. In the past, he may have been more transparent when answering a question from the media. Why?

Because he liked being transparent.

However, if that leads to complications with coaches or players under him, he may have to re-think the way he approaches talking with the media.
