James Franklin points to turnovers, lack of urgency after loss to Minnesota
Penn State is ranked No. 4 in the country. All was in front of the Nittany Lions.
All they had to do was keep winning. However, once No. 17 Minnesota came in front of them, Penn State couldn’t handle it. It lost, and now, with one loss and trailing Ohio State by a game within its own division, one has to wonder if all College Football Playoff hopes are gone.

We’ll get a better look at that next week when the second version of the CFP rankings are revealed, but after the 31-26 defeat, Nittany Lions coach James Franklin spoke with the media and said that all of Penn State’s goals are still attainable:
Franklin says all of PSU's goals are still ahead of them. Adds that turnovers and lack of urgency was present this afternoon.

Franklin said he told the team everything in life is a learning opportunity. "Allow this feeling, have this feeling and everything can be used for fuel."

He also took responsibility for how his former Penn State teams have dealt with losses:
Franklin: "There's been times where we haven't moved on from losses and I think part of it is how I've handled it in the locker room afterward."

Penn State faces Indiana at home next week.
