James Franklin previews plans for stopping Ohio State in Week 9
James Franklin knows he has his hands full when the Ohio State Buckeyes come to town in Week 9.
Franklin has only defeated the Buckeyes once (2016) as Penn State HC. The top-ranked Buckeyes stroll into Happy Valley sporting a top-20 rushing and passing offense.
When speaking with the media about the upcoming matchup, Franklin mentioned taking risks in all 3 phases of the game and keeping the Buckeyes on their heels.

Nobody has been able to slow down the Buckeyes all season. The closest margin of victory for the team came in Week 1 when the Buckeyes took down Notre Dame by 11 points. In every game since the Buckeyes have won by 25+ points.
The Nittany Lions started 5-0 before taking a tough loss against Michigan. Franklin’s squad rebounded in Week 8 with a dominating 41-17 win over Minnesota.
The Nittany Lions and Buckeyes will face off at Noon EST on Saturday in Happy Valley. Fans can tune into the game on FOX.
