That’s great news for Penn State fans, who are hoping to rebound off a disappointing 2020 campaign. King was a 4-star prospect in the class of 2021.
According to 247Sports Composite rankings, King was the No. 234 overall player and the No. 16 cornerback in the class of 2021.
He hails from Detroit, Michigan, and attended Cass Technical High School.
It’s unclear if King will have an opportunity to start as a true freshman, but he’s making a big impact this offseason. Several reporters have noted that King has been the most-discussed freshman this spring by a wide margin.
