James Franklin says Penn State got a commit Wednesday night, 'nobody' knows about it
On Thursday night, James Franklin talked on the Penn State Coaches radio show and was answering a fan’s question about how the program’s recruiting might improve after the Nittany Lions earned a No. 4 ranking in the initial College Football Playoff rankings.

Franklin talked about recruiting in general, and a one point, added about how the team got a verbal commitment from a recruit that nobody knows about:
“We got another commitment [Wednesday] night,” Franklin said. “You guys don’t know about it, nobody really does, but you’ll find out probably on Monday.”
Wait, what?
There’s a recruit that committed and nobody has any idea who it is? Well, fair enough. Good for Penn State for keeping it hidden — at least until it wants the news to come out.
So, who could it be? Well, again, we don’t really know.
We don’t even know what class this commit is a part of. All we do know is that somebody committed. And we’ll find out more about it.
Soon.
Here’s Penn State’s current 2020 recruiting class.
