James Franklin looks to lead No. 11 Penn State to his first-ever Rose Bowl win and the first win for Penn State in the Rose Bowl since 1995. On Sunday, Franklin confirmed that third-year running back Keyvone Lee will be available for the matchup against No. 8 Utah.

Franklin also announced that redshirt sophomore offensive tackle Olu Fashanu will be a game-time decision. Fashanu is a key piece for the offensive line and was one of the most consistent performers for the Nittany Lions when healthy in 2022.

Lee has been limited this season after a series of injuries that only allowed him to play 5 games. Lee rushed for 94 yards on 25 carries this season after leading the Nittany Lions in rushing yards in each of the past two seasons.

Fashanu has been one of the best offensive players this season. He made the surprising decision to return to Penn State for the 2023 season instead of leaving early for the 2023 NFL Draft process, where he was potentially going to be selected in the first round.

Fashanu has not played a game since suffering an undisclosed injury in the 44-31 home loss on Oct. 29.
