Jaquan Brisker entered the NFL Combine in Indianapolis looking to solidify his stock as one of the best safeties in this year’s draft. Unfortunately, Brisker had to withdraw from the positional drills and will instead do those during his pro day.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Brisker felt some tightness in his lower back after producing 22 reps during his bench press session. Brisker tried to push through and ran the 40-yard dash (4.49) but had to shut down his day after the first attempt.

During the 2021 season, Brisker produced 63 tackles, 6 TFL, 2 interceptions and 5 passes defended. Hopefully the workouts during his Pro Day at Penn State will be enough to showcase Brisker’s talents for NFL teams.
