Jesse Luketa solidifies status for Penn State's bowl game
Jesse Luketa is not planning on missing Penn State’s bowl game to finish the year. The senior linebacker announced his plans to play in the Outback Bowl on Friday.
For the year, Luketa finished with 52 total tackles alongside 7.5 TFL and half a sack. He recorded 8 total tackles and a TFL in the win vs. Auburn and had 7 tackles and a TFL vs. Ohio State.
For now, Luketa is saying he “absolutely” plans to play in the bowl game vs. Arkansas. As for 2022, Luketa does not yet have a plan in place.

Head coach James Franklin discussed Sean Clifford’s decision to return Friday morning. During those comments, Franklin explained he was hopeful in expecting more key players to have a decision over the coming days.
