Nobody had much success on Wisconsin’s defense this season.

So when ESPN writer Brian Bennett interviewed three B1G coaches before the title game on Saturday, it wasn’t too much of a shock when one believed Penn State would have trouble scoring more than 17 points.

All of the coaches interviewed believed Wisconsin would come out of Indianapolis with the B1G trophy.

After catching wind of that statement on Monday, Joe Moorhead – PSU offensive coordinator and the genius behind the Nittany Lions’ surging offense – came back hard at the coach on Twitter:

Penn State took down Wisconsin 38-31 in Indianapolis on Saturday, outscoring the Badgers 24-3 in the second half.

The 38 points were the most any team has scored on Wisconsin’s defense since Ohio State routed the Badgers in the 2014 B1G Championship 59-0. Penn State also threw for 384 yards, the most passing yards Justin Wilcox’s defense has surrendered all season long.

Maybe it won’t count on Penn State’s record, but Moorhead just got an impressive win on his Twitter record.
