Journey Brown shows off blazing speed on long TD catch, adds to Penn State lead
Penn State’s offense is putting on a show in College Park. Journey Brown was the latest to join the party.
Holding a 28-0 lead in the second quarter, Penn State was putting together another long drive, moving down the field with ease. On a 3rd-and-5, Sean Clifford was able to hit Brown for a short pass outside the numbers. The running back flipped a switch and outran every Maryland defender on his way to the end zone.
Brown was credited with a 37-yard touchdown reception on the play. It was his first receiving touchdown of the season.

Brown has been the leading rusher for the Nittany Lions this season, totaling 175 yards and two touchdowns on 21 attempts. It looks like Brown can be a serviceable receiver, too.
Penn State took a 38-0 lead into half.
