Saturday evening did not end well for Penn State.

The Nittany Lions had to feel a sense of deja vu as they endured another one-point loss at the hands of Ohio State. Penn State once again had a lead in the fourth quarter behind a huge performance from QB Trace McSorley, but the Buckeyes battled back to win by a score of 27-26.

One of the stars for Penn State was speedy WR K.J. Hamler. Hamler had four catches for 138 yards, including an impressive 93-yard touchdown, for the Lions.

Penn State did have an opportunity to potentially win the game in the final moments of the fourth quarter but wound up turning the ball over on downs. Some of the play-calling at the end of the game was particularly questionable, but Hamler is not a fan of those criticizing James Franklin or any PSU coach following the loss.
