Key Penn State OL not expected to play in Rose Bowl vs. Utah, per report
Penn State is going to be without one of its top offensive lineman for the Rose Bowl, according to a report from ESPN’s Pete Thamel. Thamel reported the news about an hour before kickoff.
Olu Fashanu is the player in question. Fashanu is coming back for another season in Happy Valley, but will reportedly not be playing in the Rose Bowl.
Fashanu was a game-time decision going into the game after suffering an injury during the loss to Ohio State earlier this season. Fashanu has played in eight games for the Nittany Lions in 2022. Fashanu is expected to be one of the top OL prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft.
