Keyvone Lee announced Friday evening that he would be entering the transfer portal with 2 years of eligibility remaining. Though talented, the rising senior running back mostly sat behind star freshmen running backs Nick Singleton and Kaytron Allen this past season.

Lee finished the 2022 season with 25 carries for 94 yards, totaling 3 catches for 24 yards and a touchdown. He was injured early in the season against His last action was on Oct. 15 against Michigan.

As said earlier, Penn State will be fine in the running back department. Nick Singleton was one of the best running backs in the B1G and will only get better next season. Allen is much of the same, having rushed for 867 yards and 10 touchdowns his freshman season in Happy Valley.

The Nittany Lions should be a stout unit next season with multiple offensive weapons returning and yet anther top 15 recruiting class.
