The mid-September showdown between Penn State and Auburn has a kickoff time and television network.

CBS will cover the nonconference clash between the B1G and SEC programs. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET. It is the second of a home-and-home series between the two programs. It will be played at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Penn State hosted Auburn at Beaver Stadium last fall, a White Out game for the Nittany Lions. James Franklin led his squad to a 28-20 victory over the Tigers under the lights.

Last year’s meeting was the first time the two programs met in the regular season. The previous two matchups came in bowl games. Auburn defeated Penn State in the Capital One Bowl in 2003 (13-9). The only other meeting was a 43-14 victory for the Nittany Lions in the Outback Bowl in 1996.

Penn State leads the all-time series 2-1.
