K.J. Hamler echoed how many fans who watched Thursday Night Football felt. After the goal line stand by the Colts that won the game, the former Penn State WR was seen banging his helmet on the ground in anger.

Hamler was actually wide open on the final play. However, Wilson’s eyes were looking to the left side of the end zone for Courtland Sutton who was covered up and dropped the pass. Hamler caught 1 pass for 10 yards receiving before the final whistle sounded.

This game was very frustrating to watch. For the majority of the game it looked like no one wanted to win as both offenses stalled. Both Matt Ryan and Wilson had 2 interceptions. Both teams struggled to run the ball as well, barely having 150 yards rushing each as a team.

Wilson had 274 yards passing and went 21-for-39. The only points that were scored in the game were from field goals as the Colts went on to win 12-9. Hamler’s frustration may have been warranted.

Hamler and Wilson play their division rival the Los Angeles Chargers next on Oct. 17.
