James Franklin’s final decision on Saturday night was a head-scratcher. With the game on the line, the Penn State head coach took the ball out of the hands of his best player.

On a 4th-and-5, trailing 27-26 with under 1:30 to play, Penn State opted to hand the ball off to running back Miles Sanders, rather than keep it in the hands of Trace McSorley. Sanders was stuff behind the line of scrimmage and the Nittany Lions’ hopes of a B1G title were all but dashed.

Franklin’s call was unpopular and widely ridiculed. He even had a heated exchange with a fan while leaving the field after the game.

And if Franklin sees what’s being plastered over the Penn State campus on Monday morning, he might have a few more run-ins with students.

The Athletic‘s Audrey Snyder posted a photo of a hilarious sign that’s being posted on bulletin boards across campus Monday morning. It’s a “Missing” flyer, searching for McSorley and those “5 yards on 4th down.”

“Appearance: Bearded man with a headband, wears the number 0, has a tattoo on left arm, can often be found swinging imaginary baseball bat,” the sign reads. “Last seen: Having his passing abilities called into question by James Franklin.”

According to the bottom of the sign, the Penn State Monty Python Society.

Students, apparently, are still really unhappy with Franklin’s decision to take the ball out of McSorley’s hands. There are plenty of folks around the country miffed by the decision, too.

Let’s just hope Franklin doesn’t see the flyer or find the students responsible for the sign. He may have to have a few words with them.
