One of the top priorities in Penn State’s 2022 recruiting class has set a date and time for his decision.

Dani Dennis-Sutton, a 4-star defensive end in the 2022 class, announced on Twitter Tuesday that he’ll be making a decision later this week. It will be coming on Thursday, July 22 at 5 p.m. ET at McDonogh High School in Owings Mills, Maryland.

Dennis-Sutton is ranked as the No. 1 player out of Maryland and is listed as the No. 10 defensive lineman of the cycle. Nationally, he’s just outside the Top 50 overall prospects, coming in at No. 52.

Penn State, Georgia and Alabama appear to be the top choices for the 4-star lineman. He also received offers from Michigan, Florida, Florida State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, USC and several others.

From 247Sports recruiting analyst Brian Dohn:

Excellent frame and build for strong side defensive end. High character, intelligent. Has length and plus athleticism. Bends well and has flexibility, including at ankles to dip shoulder and get around the edge. Uncoils quickly with explosive first step to get around edge and shows high-level speed through first 10 yards. Body control is a plus. Does not spend much time on the ground. Active hands makes it tough for offensive lineman to land initial punch.

Penn State’s 2022 class has grown substantially over the month of July, landing nine new pledges in the month. The Nittany Lions are up to 20 verbal comments for the cycle and currently rank No. 2 nationally and in the B1G.
