The saga between former Miami head coach Manny Diaz and the school was a total cluster you know what. Miami, who was looking to replace Diaz with Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal, dragged out the process for days not even officially firing Diaz until Cristobal had taken the job.

Had Cristobal not taken the job, Diaz would still be the head coach but that’s all behind him now. Once Miami officially introduced Cristobal as their new head coach, it allowed Diaz to find a new job, and that he did as the new defensive coordinator at Penn State.

Diaz was announced as the new defensive coordinator Saturday and from the looks of the video below, he seems to be in awe of his new digs in State College.

The Nittany Lions defense was ranked 7th nationally in total defense.
