Manny Diaz praises Abdul Carter's talent level ahead of sophomore season
Manny Diaz noted how much Abdul Carter has improved heading into his second season with Penn State at Sunday’s presser. Carter made a statement during first year in Happy Valley.
Carter recorded 56 total tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks in 2022. He was a former 4-star LB from the 2022 class. The 247Sports Composite ranked him as the No. 28 LB and No. 10 from his home state of Pennsylvania.
Diaz described Carter’s talent and stated that average things will look extraordinary when it comes to the Penn State LB.

Carter will be looking to do even better in 2023 after showing what he can do last year. His first 13 games for Penn State were exciting to watch for Penn State fans.
The sky is the limit for someone with Carter’s talent.
Fans can watch Carter and Penn State in the season opener on Sept. 2 against West Virginia. The game will be shown on NBC at 7:30 p.m. ET.
