A great day for Penn State is getting even better.
Wednesday, the Nittany Lions received a commitment from five-star defensive Micah Parsons, one of the most highly-touted players in the 2018 class. That was the first wave of good news.
The day got even better when it was reported that Parsons will enroll early at Penn State and get a jump on his collegiate career. Ryan Snyder of Rivals confirmed the news.
Confirmed with Terrence Parsons, Micah’s father, this afternoon that Micah will enroll at Penn State next month. That was up in the air until recently. That’s huge for Micah. He can legitimately crack the DL rotation IMO.

Parsons is regarded as one of the top prospects in the nation and is expected to make an immediate impact for the Nittany Lions in some fashion. His chances to get on the field and help Penn State immediately improve if he lands on campus in January.
A hometown product, Parsons had originally committed to Penn State early in his recruitment. However, prior to the start of the 2017 season, he decided to reopen his recruitment. On Wednesday, the five-star prospect cam full circle, and signed on the dotted line with the Nittany Lions.
Parsons was ranked as the No. 4 player in the 2018 class by 247Sports.
