Micah Parsons has awesome exchange with Roger Goodell after first-round selection
It was a dream come true for Micah Parsons. In case that wasn’t obvious, the former Penn State linebacker had an awesome exchange with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on the big stage.
Parsons was taken with the No. 12 pick in the NFL Draft, selected by the Dallas Cowboys. The All-American linebacker is one of the top defensive prospects in this draft and many believe he could be an elite LB at the next level.
When Parsons heard his name called and walked across the stage, he leaped into Goodell for a big hug. The moment is getting plenty of attention on social media:

This is what it’s all about and why the draft is so much fun to watch.
Parsons spent two seasons at Penn State, committing to the program as a 5-star member of the 2018 recruiting class. In those two years, the linebacker piled up 191 tackles, 18 for loss, 6.5 sacks, 6 forced fumbles and 5 pass break-ups.
He’ll begin his career with one of the biggest franchises in the NFL.
