Penn State’s pro day is happening Thursday, and one of the marquee events has produced some strong results for the Nittany Lions.
One of the early drills was the 40-yard dash with Micah Parsons, Jayson Oweh, Shaka Toney, Lamont Wade, and Will Fries participating. Remarkably, Parsons and Oweh ran official sub-4.40 times, putting them in the elite level for players at their respective positions.
Wade managed to break 4.50 on his time while Toney was right near the mark at 4.51:

Just gonna say it, people @JaysonOweh‘s size aren’t supposed to be this fast.

Of particular note from the 40-yard times was Oweh’s at 4.36. According to PFF’s Anthony Treash, that time would be the best by a player of Oweh’s size at DL in the past 20 years of the NFL Combine:

Hopefully, these players are able to turn strong pro-day performances into a high draft pick in April. Time will tell where these guys wind up to begin their NFL careers.
