Former Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons has been outstanding in his rookie season thus far.

No matter if it’s the pass or run, he’s been able to stop either play. He’s the only player to rank top 15 in both pass rush win rate and run stop win rate, per ESPN Stats & Info.

Parsons is coming off another strong performance against the Atlanta Falcons this past Sunday. He finished with 6 total tackles with 1 sack.

Before that game, he had an even better performance against the Denver Broncos on Nov. 7. He finished with 10 total tackles (8 solo) with 2.5 sacks.

For the season, Parsons has 58 total tackles (44 solo) with 6 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 2 passes defended. He’s getting better on a weekly basis and is looking like he was well worth being picked No. 12 overall.

His next chance to continue making a strong impact will be this Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Kickoff will be at 4:25 p.m. ET.
